Warren Buffet and Bill Gates are leading the charge to encourage their financial peers to pledge to give away at least 50% of their worth. They are truly leading by example. Called the Giving Pledge, Buffet and Gates have contacted more individuals and we will see this number rise. Can this initiative be replicated outside of the US? Probably with the right champions.
